All summer long, the big screen is back in place and we invite you to movies under the open sky, surrounded by greenery and historic wooden barns, in the middle of Jernbanebyen.
It's free to join and you just have to show up — we drive on a first-come, first-served basis, so come in good time and find a seat.
Attention: Please note that you are not assured a seat with this ticket, but continue to yourself must make sure to find a seat when you arrive.
🌯🍹 While the movie rolls, we keep the bar open with cold and hot drinks, both with and without alcohol, and our six tempting food stalls offer 100% organic street food.

FAQ:
Do you show summer movies even if it's raining — and can you sit in the shelter?
Yes, we show summer cinema in all weathers. We cannot guarantee a place in the shelter and recommend that you check the weather forecast and dress according to the conditions.
May I bring my own food and drink?
Do not bring your own food and drinks. For all our film screenings, our bar and at least 1 food stall are open so you can buy food, snacks and drinks.
Is there a place for everyone?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee seats for everyone. We run on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend that you arrive well in advance and find a seat.
Am I guaranteed a seat if I have booked a ticket through the website?
No, a free ticket from our website does not guarantee a seat — nor do we check tickets at the entrance.
Are there chairs for Sommerbio?
We have many benches at Solplads, but you are welcome to bring carpets, folding chairs or anything else yourself, within reasonable limits.
In which language are the movies?
The movies are shown in their original language with Danish subtitles.
